Incredible handle material.  Sort of a gold, grey, and black mother of pearl look to it.  It changes in color when rotated much like real pearl.
 
There is some interesting information regarding the CATTARAUGUS CUTLERY CO. out of Little Valley NY online.  You should check it out.  Looks like they closed up shop in 1963.
 
Condition:  Light signs of age or use.  The perfect amount of patina.  No cracks in either handle.  Snap on the larger blade but not on the smaller.  PLEASE SEE PICTURES. 
 
2 7/8" when closed.  Double blade.
