S.C. Wragg Sheaf Island Works pocket knife 1830-1850

GREAT CHANCE FOR A SERIOUS COLLECTOR!  AUTHENTIC ORIGINAL AND NOT A REPRODUCTION.

S.C. Wragg Sheaf Island Works folding/pocket knife.  Nickel silver bolsters with eagle, shield, sword, and scales design.  Mother of pearl handles.

There is some information regarding S.C. Wragg if you look it up online.  It is very interesting.  They made knives before the civil war right around 1830-1850.  They had a few different tang stamps and this was one of them.

WHEN BOTH BLADES ARE SEATED AND YOU PRESS THE SMALLER BLADE INWARD THE LARGER BLADE EXITS.  VERY INTERESTING DESIGN.

Condition:  No cracks or chips in either blade, bolsters, or pearl handles.  The knife still has its original shield.  Both blades open as they should.  The larger blade doesnt seat 100% into the handles...this may or may be by design.

5" long when closed.  9" long when open.

The knife will be insured and will need delivery signature confirmation.
